Matt’s scissors and Trent’s insult

There was a thread on SL that NJHorror started about PA Senator Arlen Specter changing political parties.  My first mistake was opening the thread knowing its author and the title, but I’ve been having stomach problems this week and my resistance was low. To make a long story short, I took NJ to task for another rant. Then Trent spoke up. I don’t have a screen capture but did at least copy the post I replied. Needless to say Matt deleted the thread less than an hour later.

You know Specter is credited with the Magic Bullet Theory in the JFK assassination, right? I don’t see why the left is saying he’s “DA MAN”, plus, he helped a murderer escape bail in 1979.

 

 

Ah Trent, I’m hurt to the quick. but your comparison is-like everything else you say-asinine. Number one: I never said I liked Specter. However he’s not the only politician to ever jump ship. Current Texas governor was a Democrat until he jumped ship in 1989 for the same reason, saving his career. Specter acknowledged that’s why he changed. Show me anywhere I said anything about liking and or agreeing with Specter. you can’t, because I never said anything like that. now, if you want to read my blog, and take something out of context, which is a typical rethuglican maneuver, go right ahead. What I take exception to, of course, if Trent the douchebag’s use of my blog to somehow justify his own warped thinking. It was unnecessary, hurtful and typical of his ilk. His support of a dead, uncaring party, and his ugly, mean spirited behavior earn him a golden douche bag of the year award. Sadly, he’ll never see the light. It’s hard to do that when your head is so far up your ass, as Trent’s is.

Matt, proving once more what a dipshit he is, has locked the thread started by Dimstain about Nikita’s “health”. Of course he let Nikita have the last word. At least wwe don’t have to wade through more posts of sympathy for the wretch that is Nikita-though new annoyance Damastes has to put her two cents in-even when she has no clue about anything.  here’s Nikita’s post in that thread, and afterwords I’ll deal with Matt and SL. 

 BELLS PALSY is nothing to joke about when it is on the onset. Though I’ve seen people laughing at the fact that I had this for a good part of a month. All of January was the hellish three weeks that this came on and I was in the ER twice for it. I thought I was having a stroke because of the facial paralysis. I couldn’t eat right or sleep the entire time. I am glad the fucking thing is gone, I wish it upon my worst enemy because it would humble them some when they post about it on their blog stealing my entry and going around making light of something like that. My advice to them is have a heart before you do something like that, even when I said I wouldn’t buy a dead author’s books in life and also in his death. That is an honest statement but when they go around mocking my Bells Palsy, that isn’t a cool thing to do. The bells palsy I could not even listen to the radio without my head going haywire. 

You mean that phantom disease that the doctor said you didn’t have? Seriously, how long are you going to stay on the cross with this one.  You even said that the doctor called it horseshit on your facebook blog. You can’t even put a coherent thought together, yet you expect everyone to think your some sort of medical savant?  Sorry Nikita, just another whiny plea for sympathy and attention, in hopes of selling that incoherent alphabet soup you call writing. In fact, if I opened a can of alphabet soup and poured it on some paper, I’m certain what came out would make more sense than anything you could write with you “19 years of writing”. Then you have the nerve, the gall, the cajones to tell others to “have a heart?” Contradict yourself much ferret boy? Wait, strike that, ferrets are lovable and playful creatures-you’re not. Talking about the deceased loved ones of others, their health problems is okay for you, but not anyone else? 

Anything you say or do is fair game NIkita. You have no boundaries, and neither do we. Remember that.

 

Now onto Matt and his smothering manlove for the Legion. He is so obsessed with trying to protect the nitwits at all costs, I think he honestly doesn’t see the damage he’s doing to his own credibility.  Not that it matters anymore, as many of those who used to post have gone on to their own boards, or migrated over to Keene’s board. With the exception of 3 or 4 people on SL, it’s nothing but idiocy and rampant favoritism there. Mention Keene’s board, get deleted. Call the nitwits out on their lies, get deleted and warned of being banned. Post something halway intelligent, and some yahoo like Damastes, TrentTaylor or another moron will derail it.

Even Odark is being overrun with stupid of late, but at least the stupid remains there and not cut or deleted. One of the few things in Odark’s favor anymore.

Over the past few days Phoolbin and Dimstain have been running amok, posting their ignorant, paranoi driven drivel, and being allowed to continue without so much as a crossed eye from their buddy Matt.

Yes, it’s Matt’s board and he can do what he wants, but maybe it’s time for Matt to hand the reins over to someone who actually gives a shit.

La Femme Nikita Stands His Ground

Never one to let psychosomatic diseases like his phantom Bell’s Palsy keep him down, Nikita has been active once again, and still repeating the same things he’s been spewing forever. Rusty has done another smashing job of dissecting his incoherent babble, so I’ll cut to the chase and focus on a few things. 

I am not threatening anyone here, but I just got done taking a shit in someone’s urn, the fucking fag kept going on and on about this dead lover.   Get yourself a woman and stop acting like a woman.  I am going to comment on the blogs but I will say this of the spineless cocksuckers.  They need to really get a life and stop pissing onmine!

First of all Nikita, Damon was never cremated.  I’d like to know where you think I go on and on about him. I’ve only mentioned him a handful of times on my blog and in random posts on Rusty’s or SL.  However, I’m glad you’re reading my posts; see what real writing looks like?  and for all your tough talk, you’re nothing but a coward and pussy.  What would you do if I came to your neck of the woods and knock on your door? Hide behind Granny? Run to your little basement hovel Nick two kitchens Pacione? More likely you’d just shit your pants.  Well I wouldn’t waste my time or money on a douchebag like yourself, so you’re safe.  I don’t make threats, I take action. 

Action, like writing a blog post on what an unkempt, paranoid, lying, plagiarizing, piece of shit you are. Blame your problems on your mental defects all you want, the fact is Nikita, you’re nothing but a lowlife piece of shit. Rather than listn to some of the criticism that’s offered, you get defensive, and have an asshole like Dagstine make posts on SL for you. Remember, this is the same guy who stalked you under an alias you dumb fuck. do you think he actually cares about anything or anyone (aside from his butt buddies Philbin and Matt “Legion lover” Schwartz) other than himself?  You’re nothing but a tool to him. Well, you’re a tool in many ways, but in this instance, even a dull butter knife like yourself has at least one use.

As for Lulu, don’t get comfortable there again, just yet. something tells me you won’t be there long. 

Then over on SL (and I’ll have something to say about SL again in another post), he writes,

Doing well is not talking about someone’s dead lover. Doing well is not accusing me of molesting someone. Doing well is not lying about why you never pay your writers. That’s doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.

That’s insanity. But you know what it’s like to be insane, as no normal person would ever behave as you do. $20.00 for a signed roll mag not even suitable for toilet paper? give me a fucking break. If you think anyone would pay 20 cents for your work, well you’re as delusional about your nontalent as Dagstine is about his. 

 I lost this one because of one unruly writer with contracts. She signed a contract but voided it out when she started bashing on me and shit. I’ve been a writer of 19 years coming October. Halloween 1990 was when my first horror story was written.

Yes, damn those unruly writers and their contracts. Imagine wanting to be paid! and maybe she never would have said anything about you if you’d paid her as you said; but no, you have a long history of not paying writers, so why should anyone be surprised? 

19 years as a writer, and you still have less talent than a 6 year old with severe learning disabilities.

Try 30 plus years as a talentless douchebag.

The Politics of Writing

Or, more accurately, making your political beliefs known on messageboards. I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now; how easy it is to read a political thread (whether it’s on SL, Odark, Tomo’s or really any board on the web) and add your opinion while questioning the species  of someone’s mother.  These threads get heated, ugly and often snipped or locked.

I know they sure as hell raise my blood pressure at times.  yet, I wonder, if we as writers do ourselves a disservice by making our beliefs known. I’ve read enough posts on SL, Odark and Tomo’s board to know that there are certain writers, and publishers I will never read because of their political beliefs. I also make no bones about that with friends of mine, when they ask about an author they may be thinking of reading. 

I’m not talking about minor disagreements-everyone holds opinions that others won’t agree with; I’m talking about those who consistently and vehemently hold ideas-no matter how wrong-as the only way to think and that anyone who doesn’t is an idiot. I admit, I’ve been guilty of that myself, and it’s why I try and stay out of political conversations. I don’t always succeed, but I’ve managed to cut down on my political posts compared to what I had been posting. 

Evryone is entitled to their opinion, but is it always a good idea to make that public knowledge? If I know what two different writers opinions are and only have enough money to buy one book, who’s going to get my money? The one I agree with most of the time, or the one who I perceive as talking out of their ass? It’s a fine line to walk, and one I don’t always do well at. 

It’s easy to pick out nitwits with no talent like Dagstine, Philbin and Pacione, and with messageboards, it’s now as easy as reading posts to determine who gets my money and who doesn’t.

Matt Responds…kind of…

Much to my surprise, Matt did respond to my PM. Though only to part of it. Once again he totally ignores the point of his coddling and encouraging the nitwits, while cutting the posts which make sense. Matt responded with the following:

If YOU posted about a project you were working on, and someone came on and said “boring” I would remove it and threaten to ban them too. If I was having a party at my house, and people couldn’t act civilly towards each other, even with people they didn’t like, I wouldn’t invite them to come. There’s no reason to post “boring” outside of to insult someone. And I don’t want that shit at my board. There’s enough places on the web for people to go and insult each other, or read insults about themselves. This board is not going to be one of them. 

And here’s my response to that: 

Well, you missed my point in my response, but that’s about par for the course. Again, my comment was in response to the bump he put in about his NWO infatuation, not to his call for submissions. Philbin and Dagstine regularly take a dump on your carpet, yet you still allow them to do so, that’s my point. When enough of their crap piles up-as it has-the polite and interesting guests leave. and for what it’s worth, it was actually pretty clear what the submission guidlelines for Chimera World was. 

As I said over at Rusty’s some things never change.

Matt Gets Snippy

Philhasbeen, posted a thread on SL about accepting submissions for Chimera World-dealing with-hold onto your hats-the NWO. As no one was taking thebait about submissions he bumped it with more NWO prattle. This prompted me to respond, with one word: Yawn.

That was it, nothing snide, or rude. A simple word to express the fact his yammering on about the NWO is getting tiresome. It made it to page 2 status without any other comments, when Matt sends me the following message:

Make another post that’s just an insult (like Yawn) and I have to ban you. 

So I sent him a reply that said the following:

And what exactly was insulting about that? The fact Philbin consistently posts his NWO tripe IS boring. how long will keep you defending the likes of him Dagstine? Until they run off the few remaining serious pros on here? Seriously Matt, you do yourself and your board a disservice by bending over backwards to them. Meanwhile, they can make snarky comments to everyone else and get away with it.

That was sent just a few minutes ago, we’ll see how he responds.  I wish I had reread and edited my mistakes in that, but I don’t think Matt will even notice.

1000 Posts, 1500 Quests, 5250 Dollars and 3 Weeks

In other words, the numbers that have popped up in my life over the past week. 

1000 posts

I made my 1000th post over on SL this morning, and have learned this: nitwits aren’t limited to SL. On each and every forum I go to there are nitwits aplenty, always ready to share their ignorance on a global scale.  Fortunately the legion outside of SL tend to not take it outside the forums into blogs, or other websites. However, I have yet to see a forum run as badly as Matt runs SL, with his constant snipping, thread deletions and obvious way he play favorites and coddles the nitwits.  If Matt’s intent on doing this is to drive SL into the ground he is indeed doing a splendid job.

1500 quests

I recently got the achievement for completing 1500 quests in Warcraft, as well as doing 5 daily quests consecutively and 50 daily quests total. Hey being 80 has advantages; you can go back and cleanup all those low level quests you skipped or missed as you leveled up. 

I also want to say it’s been a blast playing with Cussedness and chatting with her over ventrilo as we play. Stay away from the lava Cuss!

5250 dollars

Is the average amount of money it’s going to take to have all my lower teeth removed. Due to the expense and my mother not being able to pay that much, I’m looking into other dental plans to see if it can be done for something more manageable. 

And no, a reach around isn’t included in that fucking the dentists are giving me.

3 Weeks

Is how long I’ve been unemployed. I’ve been on two interviews despite my creating a blizzard of resumes. Unemployment is behind and I still haven’t gotten my first check yet, but at least I did get the 401K check yesterday.

1 new pet

Not being happy with how my corehound was working, I abandoned the drooling green mess in favor of a cat, a cursed child of Har’Koa and I’m very pleased with her so far. I named her Gilead, from the area where Roland inKing’s Dark Tower series hails from. Here’s a pic of this oh so sexy beast.

IT is my favorite King book. A bit messy, yes, but the finest evocation of childhood and friendship that I can recall. Even sitting here now, having read that book 15 years ago, I can recall every main characters’ name, specific scenes and incidents with a clarity that eludes me in other books by equally fine, if different, writers I read about that same time. Clive Barker’s one of my favorite writers, horror or otherwise, but none of his characters—excepting perhaps Harry D’Amour—stick with me as Ben and Stan and Beverly and Mike and Bill and Eddie do. This is one of the only things I’ve learned in my on-and-off writing career: memorable, humane characters are key. To me, as a reader, and to many readers. Not gobs or semen or whatever it is Philbin seems to think ‘the masses’ are missing out on. His undiscovered genius. It’s sad, really, because Mike’s been bleating the same thing for nearly a decade. At least it seems. You’re what, Mike? are you 50 yet? How many good writing years do you have left before your brain turns to cellular tapioca? Same as mine will in time. How long will you keep barking up this tree before realizing it’s the wrong tree, you’re miserable or at least artistically wrongheaded doing so, and change? You see, you’ve got the greatest opportunity for an artistic aboutface since De Sade, maybe. A 180-degree turn! From bukkakke to bucolic tales! Write something with humanity, for God’s sake, stop raging against shit you’re never going to change anyway, get out of your atrophied mindset, embark on a different path altogether. Or do both. Larry the Thief – Update

Proving once again that any attention is better than none at all, Dagstine manages to hijack another thread and make it about him. In a quite innocuous thread, S.D. Hintz talked about your first job as a teenager.

Innocent enough, right? Then along comes Larry the Thief who says,

The tips back then ranged from 2 bucks to ten per delivery, throw the regular hourly rate on to that, then throw me “Helping Myself” here and there from the cash register or Lotto box (shhh….lol). That pay on some weeks was more like $15.00 per hour.

 

A thief is a thief is a thief, no matter the age. The fact he was a teenager and, presumably, knew wrong from right, and stole money is a crime. Thus, beginning the pattern of thinking everyone owes him something, rather than relying on his own efforts.

Update – Matt the Grinch

Just as Cussedness pointed out, Matt did lock the thread, and once more I’m left to wonder why? Was it our taking Daggy to task for theft that did it? RN Lee calling bullshit on the whole story? Or maybe Matt, frustrated that his Milton wunderkind is rejecting his overtures, got in a snippy mood and decided to take it out on those of us who know BS when they smell it.

Or maybe it’s because, Larry was Matt’s secret santa, (something Daggy made sure to advertise in another thread), and wanted to protect his “special” friends.

TinFoil Hat Brigade

Mike “the sky is falling” Philbin is at it again, posting his paranoid rants about the NWO, over on SL. http://shocklinesforum.yuku.com/topic/8511/t/OT-N-W-O-as-reported-by-the-Financial-Times-today.html.

He then goes into his usual litany of other conspiracy theories, ignoring when he gets called out, and taking pot shots at others who point out his ego driven behavior.  In one post, he links to an article from bloomberg.com saying we’re under the War Powers act of 1939. In short there is nothing in the article that says that. The closest is this quote,

Hardly the same thing which Tin Phoilbin claims. So it shouldn’t come as any surprise, that all this says about him is he’s an attention whore. Saddled with barely adequate writing skills, and novels that are as unreadable as they repulsive, what’s left, but to create troll laden threads?

The fact people respond to him in any serious manner is a shame.  Maybe, like in Peter Pan, if we no longer believe in him or his foolishness, he’d go away.
